Join a Park Ranger for a wildflower walk along the Jacob Fork River.  These moderate hikes will begin at the Jacob Fork Parking Area and last approximately one hour.  Each hike will be about 0.75 miles long. Go Wild! Family fun day at Haw River State Park

This free event includes hands-on wildlife demonstrations, fishing, rock-skipping, pond explorations, family-friendly hiking trails and a variety of fun, wildlife-themed activities. Meet live reptiles and amphibians, collect insects from a stream, observe wildlife and report your findings to scientists.
